Maggie Grace is an American actor who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. After her parents' divorce her parents separated, she moved to Worthington in Ohio and moved at Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first part as Rachel's Room's title character the web-based video series Rachel's Room in the year 2001. In 2002 she was nominated to receive an Young Artist Award with her character as a 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford was the lead actor in Lost for its first two seasons. In 2004 she received the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Grace decided to concentrate on film following her role as Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005.
